We collect information you provide directly when submitting a listing (name, email, website URL, company details). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, search queries, and browser type via analytics tools. We do not sell your data.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used to operate the directory (publishing and displaying your listing), send transactional emails about your listing status, improve our product, and prevent abuse. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies (e.g. Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and GDPR-compliant). No third-party advertising cookies are used.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data with service providers (hosting, email) who are bound by data processing agreements. Listing information (name, website, description) is public by design.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@nilenest.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Data retention
We retain listing data for as long as the listing is active. Account data is retained until account deletion. Analytics data is retained for 12 months in aggregate, non-identifiable form.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
